Steps.

The steps below follow Structure+ 1.2.0. The video may show an earlier version, so a panel can look slightly different.

  1. In the Truss tab, pick Auto Roof.
  2. Choose the roof type (Gable, Mono or Pyramid) and the ridge direction from their pictures.
  3. Set Peak / fall, Eave overhang, Tower cutout and Fringe drop.
  4. Click four recognised Structure+ truss support ports. The palette counts them for you.
  5. Click again to generate the roof.

What you get.

The roof is created as separate frame and membrane groups. Gable ends are closed in membrane, while tower cutouts, eaves and a short fringe keep the cover clear of the frame. The wheel stays free for zooming while the tool is active.
