Smart Rigging: two wraps, one route.
Smart Rigging wraps tubes, beams, grouped solids and truss towers. Choose how each end wraps (1 chord, 2 chords, All four or Whole tower), click End A, click End B, and check the route before you create it.
The sling is chosen for you: the shortest stocked round sling that fits, up to 6 m. A wrap that needs more is refused, and Structure+ says how much it needed. Where the two ends are too close for a sling each, one sling goes around both.
Eyebolts, alignment and bridles.
- Smart Eyebolt: a connection point on any host that moves when the host moves.
- Rigging alignment: a purple vertical guide that lines up the actual eyes and shackles, above or below one another.
- Midpoint / bridle guide: a guide through the midpoint of two eyes, for a bridle centreline.
Chain hoists.
Hoist connects two vertically aligned points with a detailed 2-tonne single-chain hoist model, motor up or motor down. Leave an end open above or below for a connection you will make later. Reconnect Hoist End changes either attachment, and Move Rigged Object moves a grouped object by its eyebolt and refits the hoist with it.
Hang the lights.
Click a hung fixture’s clamp again to re-aim it from the angle it is at. Save the grouped fixture with its clamps in your Library under Lighting, Audio, Video or Other, then search for it and place it in any model.
- Smart Clamp: bolt one clamp, or a pair 150 mm apart, onto the fixture.
- Group the fixture and its clamps.
- Position Fixture: click a clamp, set the tilt (−45° to 90°) and pan, click a truss chord, slide along it and click to hang.
Geometric fit only.
Structure+ places rigging that fits. It does not verify anchors, working load limits, hitch derating, bridle tension or a lifting plan, and a green alignment marker is not a safety approval. Check the complete rig with the responsible rigger.
