How to use Smart Clamps and the Library.

The steps below follow Structure+ 1.2.0. The video may show an earlier version, so a panel can look slightly different.

1. Smart Clamp: hover the fixture, choose 1 clamp or 2 clamps (a pair sits 150 mm apart) and click to bolt them on.
2. Group the fixture and its clamps into one group or component. Position Fixture moves the group the clamp lives in.
3. Position Fixture: click a clamp on the grouped fixture and set the Tilt and Fixture pan in the palette.
4. Click a truss chord, move to slide the fixture along it, and click to hang it.

Select the grouped fixture and choose Save selection in the Library tab. Give it a name and a category (Lighting, Audio, Video or Other). Next time, search for it and place it with its clamps.

Smart Clamp goes on the fixture, never on a chord: pointed at truss it refuses and says so.
