Built by people who actually use SketchUp for production work.
Structure+ began with a simple frustration.
We use SketchUp for stages, truss systems, scaffolding, lighting layouts, rigging and temporary event structures — and we kept finding ourselves repeating work that software should have been helping us with.
Placing components. Aligning structures. Counting equipment. Managing variations. Preparing technical drawings. Checking connections. Repeating the same modelling steps over and over again.
So we started building our own tools.
What began as a collection of small ideas eventually grew into Structure+ — a set of practical SketchUp tools designed specifically around the way event and technical production professionals work.
We are practitioners first.
Structure+ is not being developed from a purely software perspective.
It comes from real production work involving staging, LED systems, truss, scaffolding, rigging, lighting and event infrastructure.
That experience influences the way we build every feature.
We constantly ask ourselves:
- Does this save time?
- Does it reduce repetitive work?
- Does it make drawings easier to understand?
- Does it reduce mistakes?
- Would we actually use this on a real project?
If the answer is no, we probably shouldn't be building it.
Powerful tools should still be affordable.
Professional software can become expensive very quickly, especially when a company needs multiple licences or only uses certain specialised features.
We want to take a different approach.
Our goal is to keep Structure+ reasonably priced and accessible to individual designers, freelancers, small companies and larger production teams alike.
We are not trying to charge the highest price the market will tolerate.
At the same time, good software requires continuous work.
Every subscription helps support ongoing development, testing, compatibility with future versions of SketchUp, bug fixes, improvements, documentation, support and the development of new tools.
Rather than building something once and leaving it behind, we want Structure+ to continue improving for many years.
Your subscription helps make that possible.
We want Structure+ to pay for itself.
Ultimately, software should justify its cost.
If Structure+ can save you even a small amount of time on every drawing — fewer repetitive clicks, faster placement, easier revisions, cleaner documentation and fewer mistakes — we believe the subscription should quickly become a very small part of the value it provides.
That is the standard we want to hold ourselves to.
Structure+ should save you more than it costs you.
We don't believe software replaces experience.
Structure+ is designed to assist designers, technicians and production teams — not replace professional judgement.
Temporary structures, rigging and event systems still require proper engineering, manufacturer specifications, local regulations and experienced people.
Our goal is much simpler:
Give experienced people better tools to work with.
We want SketchUp to feel more capable when it is used for technical event design, while keeping the flexibility and simplicity that made so many of us choose SketchUp in the first place.
And we're still building.
Structure+ is a growing product.
We know we won't have every answer on day one, and we don't intend to pretend that we do.
Many of the best ideas will come from people using Structure+ on projects, equipment and workflows that we may never have encountered ourselves.
So we intend to listen.
If something can be simpler, we'll try to simplify it.
If something can be faster, we'll try to make it faster.
If something is missing, tell us.
And if the industry teaches us a better way of doing something, we'll learn from it.
Made for the people behind the drawings.
Structure+ is for designers, technical directors, production teams, riggers, lighting professionals, scaffold specialists and everyone else who turns an empty venue into something real.
We're building the tools we wanted for ourselves.
We're keeping them affordable so more people can use them.
And with the support of the people who subscribe to Structure+, we'll keep making them better.
